started with a look at exactly what football trading is. Football Trading
Defined - You’re probably familiar with ‘trading’ as a term linked to the
financial markets, where traders seek to ‘buy low and sell high’ to lock in a
profit. As football traders we’re doing almost exactly the same thing, only
instead of using the terms ‘buy and sell’ we use the terms ‘back and lay’. Just
like financial trading, football trading is about “the anticipation of a future
price movement.” Let’s quickly break that down because understanding this is key
to our success:
Anticipation: We do not know how the match will unfold, but we can anticipate
what is likely to happen through our research and analysis.
A future price movement: Based on our research and analysis we need to
successfully anticipate a future price movement (meaning a shift in odds) to
execute successful trades.

position or lock in a profit on all possible outcomes.”
